Travessia is an urban winery located in our own Downtown New Bedford that uses mainly Massachusetts grapes. Marco chose the name ‘travessia’ which means ‘a journey’ in portuguese – his native language, as well as, the largest population of people in New Bedford. Marco has the same hard working yet down-to-earth attitude that so typifies the Portuguese community. They also make great wine. www.travessiawine.com
